Multiple Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available

Mon-Valley, PA Location

EMPLOYMENT CASH BONUS UP TO $4,000!

Overall Function:

Aids program clients daily with the implementation of Individual Support Plans.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides hands-on instruction to the client to implement Individual Support Plans and client goal achievement.
  • Conducts recreational and social activities with individuals, as assigned.
  • Participates in regular staff training to develop knowledge and skills necessary to assist individuals.
  • Maintains proper condition, cleanliness, and safety of residential site and vehicle.
  • Mentors incoming Direct Support Professionals and assists Site Monitors in training of new employees.  
  • Responds appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Adheres to all policies, laws, regulations, and codes of ethics and confidentiality as outlined by federal and state laws, and agency policies and procedures.
  • No High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Ability to receive, understand, and communicate information with effectiveness, and follow instructions.
  • Must have a valid Pennsylvania Drivers License and safe driving record.
  • Compliance with pre-employment and routine drug testing is required.
  • Must successfully obtain Criminal History Clearance from the Pennsylvania State Police, Child Abuse Clearance from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and FBI Fingerprint Clearances.  
  • Must not be excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid, or any other federal health care program.
  • Ability to safely operate a 16 Passenger Van.
  • Ability to assist, move and/or transfer individuals with physical limitations weighing up to 150 pounds, may be required.
  • Ability to assist, move and/or transfer program equipment and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds.
