About the Organization
Description
Concord Energy Services, a division of Concord Engineering Group, Inc., is seeking a Program Support Specialist to play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation and success of energy-related programs within the organization. This position provides comprehensive administrative, analytical, and logistical support to program, procurement, and client service teams contributing to the effective delivery of client services and program objectives. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to energy program management, market analysis, and customer engagement efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program and Administrative Support
  • Provide efficient operation of various energy programs, offering comprehensive administrative and logistical support.
  • Coordinate meetings, schedules, and communications to ensure timely execution of program activities.
  • Prepare and maintain organized documentation, reports, and records for accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor program progress, track performance metrics, and assist in preparing management summaries and client presentations.
  • Provide additional support and assistance to the department and leadership team as needed.

Energy Data and Procurement Support
  • Perform data collection and analysis related to customer electric and natural gas loads, as well as current costs under existing procurement arrangements.
  • Organize usage data, support the transaction process, and perform market research to support client and internal program needs.
  • Assist in all areas of the energy procurement process, including:
    • RFP development and bid specification creation
    • Evaluation and comparison of supplier responses
    • Analysis supporting risk management strategies
    • Preparation of customer presentation materials
  • Serve as an in-house resource for intelligence on supplier products, energy markets, and utility tariff structures.
  • Support client relations for government and institutional contracts, maintaining clear communication and responsiveness.
  • Manage post-close processes, including troubleshooting customer billing inquiries, customer usage tracking, cost reporting, and account reconciliation.

Database Management
  • Maintain and update the client database, including contact information for governing bodies and key stakeholders.
  • Update utility rate tables and supplier pricing in the CRM system as needed.
  • Upload and maintain current tariff sheets, utility rates, and program documents in shared drives and databases.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, energy management, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in program support, energy markets, procurement coordination, government contracting or administrative operations.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience managing or interpreting energy, cost or financial data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Work, Outlook); CRM or database experience preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Preferred understanding of energy procurement, utility billing and tariff structures, including knowledge of electric and natural gas market dynamics.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and evaluate energy and financial data
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets utilizing functions, formulas, analytics, and graphical presentations.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across departments, clients, and external partners.
  • Skilled at working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining clear communication within a team setting.

LOCATION:
Our headquarters are in Voorhees, NJ. This position will have the ability to have a hybrid schedule.
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000 with actual salary based on experience.
