Sales Support Assistant | Full Time / Direct Hire

Monroe Township, NJ area | Fully on-site

Summer Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00am to 5:30pm and Friday, 8:00am -2:00pm

Non-Summer Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Our client in the Monroe Township, NJ area is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Sales Support Assistant to support daily merchandising, product management, and vendor coordination activities. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with Excel, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update product assortments within the company portal
  • Prepare, manage, and upload Excel-based product data and SKU information
  • Learn and navigate the company’s internal reporting and fulfillment platforms
  • Enter and maintain vendor, product, and brand details within the company database
  • Manage ongoing updates to pricing, inventory, product descriptions, images, and program placement
  • Coordinate with vendors and brand partners regarding assortment updates and product information
  • Draft and update product marketing descriptions and related content
  • Process and maintain pricing adjustments from vendors and brands
  • Resolve vendor-related issues including discrepancies, damaged goods, overages, and return coordination
  • Provide proactive support and follow-up for the Merchandising and Sales Support teams
  • Partner with the Marketing department to supply product details and samples when needed
  • Communicate professionally with internal departments, vendors, and customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or Marketing preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, tables, and pivot tables
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
