Direct Support Professional (DSP) - On-Site Day Program
Location: Howell, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Position Overview
Eihab is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our on-site day program team. DSPs play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by promoting independence, community engagement, social interaction, and daily living skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and supervision to program participants
  • Assist individuals with daily activities and personal care as needed
  • Support participants in recreational, educational, and vocational activities
  • Encourage independence, communication, and social development
  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment
  • Complete daily documentation and incident reports accurately
  • Follow all agency policies, safety procedures, and individualized support plans
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure quality care

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid NJ driver's license
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required
