Job description

Department: Production Support Group (PSG) /Major Accounts

Job Summary

Responsible for providing support to the PSG Team. Handle projects, clerical assignments, administrative and data entry duties as directed.ย 

Principal Responsibilities

  • Assist the Producer and PSG Team Members in gathering and compiling the necessary information required for an underwriting submission.
  • Using Standard Documents, create the exposure schedules for Underwriting Submission.
  • Analyze loss runs and other loss information provided to produce Loss Summaries, Schedules of Large Losses and Loss Forecasting for marketing purposes.
  • Support the RFQ/RFP process for select new business opportunities.
  • Set-up and maintain electronic files that conform to company standards.
  • Assist with other administrative support duties as needed.
  • Answer, direct and/or handle phone calls, as applicable.
  • Promote teamwork and commitment to department/corporate goals.

Other Functions

  • Adhere to Company Policies, Procedures, Processes and Guidelines.
  • Maintain Prospect files in accordance with company standards.
  • Other special projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in an insurance or office environment.
  • Ability to operate office equipment (fax, copier, etc.).
  • Proficiency required on Microsoft products; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional Organizational and Customer Service Skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self starter, flexible and able to multi-task with minimal supervision.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without Company sponsorship

Working Conditions

Office environment with moderate noise level; able to work flexible hours and travel to other Conner Strong offices and client work sites as needed.

Compensation:

Hourly pay for this position ranges from $27.00 - $30.00. Theย  pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.ย ย 

Qualifying positions will also be eligible for comprehensive benefits, such as participation in family medical and dental insurance programs, 401K plan, and PTO.ย
