Starting Salary: $49,404 - $50,397. Commensurate with experience
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: VJCC (Lebovic campus)

About the Program
The JVS Integrated Employment Services (IES), funded by MLITSD and managed by WCG, provides employment services to unemployed individuals of all ages, financial backgrounds and skills to help them gain and retain employment within their field or a related field. To achieve its goal, the program provides a range of services including one-on-one employment counselling, employment workshops, job development/placement services and job retention supports. In addition, IES collaborates with other programs to ensure efficient and smooth operations through streamlining client referrals to appropriate services.
As a Program Assistant you will: 
•    Provide administrative support, including editing and formatting reports, preparing and completing agency and government forms and other materials. Enter and monitor data on Excel spreadsheets 
•    Support Jewish community programs and assist with clients’ intakes and registrations
•    Assist with client retention through follow-ups, gathering required documentation, and processing documents accordingly
•    Assist with workshop material preparation, set up equipment for presentations, and provide support for online sessions
•    Help maintain and manage various client databases, including setting up, maintaining, and filing client records in several databases, and preparing client rosters as needed 
•    Assist with organizing appointments, orientations, workshops, events, and outreach activities
•    Provide front desk/reception duties and customer service to clients, employers, and visitors
•    Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:  
•    High school education; Diploma or Certificate in Administration preferred
•    2 years of administrative experience
•    Excellent administrative, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
•    Computer literate with the ability to learn systems used by the agency (ie. EOIS, CaMS, SalesForce); Proficient in Microsoft Office
•    Knowledge of Jewish Community
•    Proficiency in Hebrew/Russian
•    A clear Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check is required for this position

•    Employment Ontario knowledge and exposure
•    Experience with online tools and platforms
