The Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program offers unique opportunities in Scientific, Technical, and Administrative / Office support for individuals age 55 and over and per EPA Policy applicants must be US Citizen to support the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through a grant administered program through National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions). This is a unique program where your talents, expertise and experience will truly be valued. The EPA provides a wonderful work atmosphere, and you'll be working side-by-side with EPA staff that are doing important work every day. Paid Health Insurance Premium, Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Time, Paid Federal Holidays + One Individual Holiday, and optional Vision and Dental Insurance available. This position does require a background check prior to onboarding. Local applicants only. Must be a United States Citizen.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience in related experience in process development and related responsibilities. OR BA/BS Degree in Related to the duties of the position

  • Professional experience in one of more of the following fields is desirable: communications, public relations/affairs.
  • Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS OneDrive, MS Publisher, Adobe
  • Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Publisher)
Duties:

Provide technical and moderate professional support to the Brownfields Program by organizing and maintaining program files and collaboration sites, tracking grant and program data, supporting reporting and measures development, and assisting with SOPs, process improvements, and outreach communications.

  • Provide technical and analytical support for the organization, monitoring, and maintenance of electronic files, the Branch SharePoint/Teams site, and related program information systems. Review reports, draft communications, create SOPs, and identify process improvements.   25%
  • Monitor and track grant awards, funding allocations, and program data using spreadsheets and Agency tools. Coordinate with program leads and project managers, as needed.   25%
  • Gather and assess information to support measures projections and accomplishment tracking. Assist with special projects by preparing presentations and generating reports and data analysis.   25%
  • Assist with program outreach and develop outreach materials and program communications, including success stories and quarterly newsletters, highlighting EPA-funded projects. 25 %   25%
