Job description

SAIC is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Program/Project Manager to join our team in Chantilly, VA, providing critical support to our customer in a fast-paced dynamic environment that directly impacts the success of their mission.  This position offers an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker and proactive problem-solver who thrives on making a tangible difference.

Our customer builds and maintains applications that are used across the Intelligence Community (IC), Executive Branches of the Government, and the Department of War (DoW).  These systems enable the sharing and collaboration of sensitive, co-mingled data.

The customer requires support with Statements of Authorization and Location Policies to ensure data is appropriately protected for approved locations.  The office also needs a point of contact for questions about data policies, to include those of IC and DoW partners.  The office also has regular reporting and requires a single point of contact for all deliverables and monitoring of milestones.

Core business hours are  9am - 3pm, Monday - Friday.  Support during these hours is critical to providing feedback on products and iterating over changes within the leadership team.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This position is for a contingent offer and is dependent upon a pending contract award.  SAIC is currently pursuing this opportunity, and employment is contingent upon the successful award of the contract to SAIC and your ability to meet the required qualifications.  Please note that the selected candidate must be available to begin work within 30 days of the contract award.  

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate deliverables to include monitoring status and reporting
  • Provide monthly and annual reports
  • Compile yearly vignettes documents for select systems
  • Participate and represent equities in working groups
  • Identify and monitor dependencies that impact delivery of features
  • Provide quarterly updates through the customer's reporting tool
  • Develop and refine presentation materials to ensure accuracy
  • Participate in yearly deliverable roadmap session
  • Create, update, and obtain Statements of Authorization from data owners and stewards across the IC and DoW
  • Create, update, and obtain Location Policies from data owners and stewards across the IC and DoW
  • Ensure policies are correctly implemented in the systems
  • Understand regulations for classification markings and provide guidance for implementing changes to systems
  • Translate policy implementation into diagrams for use in presentations
