The Extended Day Academy (EDA) Assistant Site Manager supports the Site Manager in overseeing daily program operations and ensuring a safe, structured, and nurturing after-school environment for elementary students.
This position assists with staff supervision, student behavior support, parent communication, and operational tasks to ensure the program runs smoothly and in alignment with district standards and the EDA mission.
Program Support & Leadership
Assist the Site Manager with daily program operations
Support supervision of EDA staff and help maintain appropriate student-to-staff ratios
Model professionalism and positive behavior management practices
Help implement structured routines and clear expectations
Step into leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Site Manager
Student Supervision & Behavior Support
Maintain a safe and organized environment
Support implementation of Conscious Discipline and positive behavior strategies
Assist with documenting student behavior incidents
Monitor student transitions, snack time, and activity rotations
