Responsibilities

Peraton Labs is seeking a program management professional to support the Senior PM Domain Analyst in defining requirements and validating analytical outputs for program management capabilities within an advanced analytical platform. This role focuses on risk management and schedule analysis domains, ensuring that automated assessments align with established program management practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define requirements for risk analysis features: risk register management, risk scoring, Monte Carlo simulation parameters, and risk cascade modeling
  • Develop schedule analysis requirements: critical path analysis, schedule risk assessment, float analysis, and schedule health indicators
  • Create test datasets and validation scenarios for PM analytical features
  • Review and validate automated program health assessments against domain expertise
  • Document program management workflows and decision processes to inform analytical workflow design
  • Support user acceptance testing with program office stakeholders
  • Maintain a library of reference materials, standards, and best practices for the engineering team

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years with a Master's degree, or a PhD in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Hands-on experience in defense program management, scheduling, or risk management
  • Strong understanding of IMS development and maintenance, critical path methodology, and schedule risk analysis
  • Experience with risk management processes and tools
  • Familiarity with EVM concepts and cost performance reporting
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both engineers and program managers
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with scheduling tools (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar)
  • PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) or PMI-RMP (Risk Management Professional) certification
  • Experience with Monte Carlo simulation tools (Polaris, Primavera Risk Analysis)
  • Familiarity with data formats (XML, JSON, CSV) and basic SQL

Target Salary Range$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
