Title: Program Manager – Sterling Heights, MI
Job Description: A detail oriented and organized individual to join our company as a Program Manager in our Program and Planning Department. This is a full-time and in office position. The Program Manager is responsible for maintaining relationships with current customers while creating, executing, and monitoring the production schedule while managing Planners to help execute the duties.

Salary: $75k - $100k or negotiable
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and monitor sales and marketing KPI’s to align with company growth goals.
  • Negotiate long-term pricing agreements with existing and new businesses.
  • Coordinate efforts of outside sales associates with company management.
  • Maintain existing customer relationships and promote contacts with new customer relationships that align with company business model.
  • Define business model for promoting growth.
  • Represent customer interests in team activities regarding scheduled delivery on time.
  • Negotiate customer delivery schedules to benefit both parties.
  • Plan, issue, and control material demand to meet production scheduling requirements.
  • Advise management on status of work in process, material availability and potential production problems to ensure that materials are available as needed.
  • Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer expectations
  • Analyze MRP demand regularly
  • Some travel is required for customer visits or summits.
  • Prepare shop travelers as needed for production.
  • Prepare outside process purchase orders while tracking and expediting as needed.
  • Identify critical shortages / roadblocks
  • Maintains the production schedule and other reports as required
  • Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation
  • Monitors daily capacity and production progress to manage adjustments within production planning
  • Meets weekly to update Operations, Planning, and Purchasing
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/management OR
  • 5+ years’ experience in production planning
  • Strong preference for aerospace experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen due to ITAR compliance.
  • Strategic and forward thinker.
  • Key communication link between company and customers/interdepartmental communication.
  • Build and maintain customer and industry contacts.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, be able to pass the necessary information to other department managers.
  • Must show ability to be detail oriented and organized.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, as well as working independently.
  • Must always exhibit a high level of flexibility and an ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
  • Superior time management skills.
