Job description

Program Manager
The Program Manager acts as the business leader responsible for new programs and projects from inception to the conclusion of the program. He or she will represent Daehan with customers, coordinate with other partners, and collaborate with internal team members in the organization to achieve the program goals. Develops and maintains program timing and key milestones. Maintains and tracks costs, budgets, and tooling, for the project. Conducts gate reviews with all internal and external participants and communicates open issues, risks, and concerns. The Program Manager has full responsibility in leading the organization to program launch. Develops strong relationships with all internal functional areas to launch on time and meet project deliverables. Responsible for timely reports, APQP, including elevation of risks affecting timing. Occasionally travels to customers, suppliers, or meetings.
Proficient knowledge and experience with budget management, strategic planning, and APQP. Expertise with Microsoft Office and Project. Soft trim experience with at least five years in a Tier one environment. Candidate should possess a PMI certification with previous experience in sales or purchasing.
Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Management or related field
Demonstrated Problem Solving Skills
5 years experience in automotive (preferably tier one)
Must be able to travel within the US.
