Role: Program / Project Management - MMIC Business Unit
Position Overview:
Program management supporting key product development programs in the MMIC Business Unit. The ideal candidate will come to the position with demonstrated experience managing complex development programs from inception to release of the product.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with Business Unit product management and engineering to establish development plans and milestones to meet program/customer requirements.
Oversee the program
• Develop, maintain, and manage the integrated master project schedule across all functions including engineering, manufacturing, test, and supply chain
• Evaluate and manage program risks and work with the team to mitigate
• Lead team meetings, track actions, and follow up with team members
• Lead programs through all phases of development including concept, design, prototype builds, qualification, production release, and sustainment.
• Ensure compliance with customer contractual requirements, statements of work, technical specifications, and program deliverables
• Financial Aspects - Revenue tracking, forecasting, margin tracking, Budgets, etc.
• Manage scope changes, requirements changes, and program priorities while maintaining alignment with contractual commitments.
Make use of your interpersonal skills by building strong relationships with the team both internal to the business unit and outside (operations, sales, quality)
Work closely with key customers to convey progress on deliverable milestones by participating in weekly/monthly status meetings
Communicating with internal and external manufacturing and vendors to ensure delivery on time.
Work with Supply Chain and vendors to manage long-lead materials, subcontractors, capacity planning, and program delivery commitments.
Partner with your business unit leaders and legal/contracts team to coordinate customer program deliverables (Supplier Data Requirements, Master Schedules, Contracts)
Assist Product Management with proposals and quotations, coordinating with sales and executive management
Present program status, risks, recovery plans, and financial metrics to business unit management
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business or related engineering discipline
• 5+ years relevant experience in project/program management, preferably in a RF Microwave or Semiconductor Industry
• Experience managing development programs for Tier 1 Aerospace and Defense companies
• Familiarity with industry standards including JEDEC, AS9100 and MIL STDs
• Experience leading programs among cross functional teams
• Ability to manage several programs at the same time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate up and down the organization as well as customers
• Experience using MS Office tools
• PMP certification preferred but not required

This position is eligible to receive restricted stock unit (RSU) awards and cash bonuses, solely at MACOM's discretion, subject to individual and company performance.
Salary Range
The Salary Range for this position is $101,000 - $150,000. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates' experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
