JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The Project Manager - Supply Chain (Program Management) is responsible for leading end-to-end material management strategy and execution for major capital projects. This role ensures the right materials are planned, sourced, staged, delivered, and available to construction partners at the right time to reduce delays, drive cost efficiency, and improve field execution.
This position will partner closely with key stakeholders to provide project-level oversight across planning, procurement, logistics, risk mitigation, and coordination of all material-related activities throughout the project lifecycle. This position directly supports Entergy's capital program success by strengthening material readiness, improving schedule alignment, and ensuring Supply Chain delivers proactive, value added solutions. to Delivery, RMRs, Suppliers, and Warehousing, the PM provides project-level
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
End-to-End Material Strategy & Planning
  • Develop comprehensive material management plans for assigned capital projects, aligned with scope, schedule, cost, sequencing, and field execution needs.
  • Validate BOMs, long-lead items, critical material constraints, and forecasted demand with engineering and construction partners.
  • Identify material risks early and build mitigation plans (supplier alternatives, staging strategies, contingency inventory, etc.).

Procurement & Supplier Coordination
  • Partner with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely purchase requisitions, competitive sourcing (as required), and alignment with contract terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance, manufacturing schedules, and delivery commitments; proactively resolve issues.

Logistics, Warehousing & Field Readiness
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain Operations to ensure materials are staged, kitted, and delivered according to the construction schedule.
  • Oversee material management plans and ensure storage conditions, handling requirements, and tracking are executed correctly.
  • Conduct periodic site visits to validate material availability, quality, and readiness.

Project Controls, Reporting & Governance
  • Monitor material budgets, variances, and cost drivers; provide updates to project controls and Supply Chain leadership.
  • Track all material-related activities against plan (deliveries, delays, shortages, surplus, changes).

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Serve as the primary Supply Chain liaison for all material-related aspects of assigned capital projects.
  • Facilitate coordination among engineering, construction, procurement, suppliers, warehousing, and logistics stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present status updates, risks, and mitigation plans to project teams and leadership.

Continuous Improvement & Process Alignment
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen material management processes and eliminate recurring causes of material delays.
  • Support implementation of standardized SC project workflows, templates, reporting, and lessons learned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EducationBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical field or 4 years of equivalent/related work experience
Experience
5+ years of experience in project management, supply chain, engineering, construction or operations. Experience supporting capital projects and working with suppliers, warehouses or logistics strongly preferred.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
Strong understanding of material planning, sourcing, logistics, and construction workflows. Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage competing priorities. Experience with Maximo or other material management and warehouse management systems preferred.
Licenses/Certification
PMP or CPM desirable but not required
