Kahak Health Care Services is a service provider for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to foster independence through compassionate support, helping individuals to achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life. We provide in-home support services, community coaching, and respite care. As an employee of Kahak Health Care Services (KHCS) you will be a part of a team of skilled and dedicated professionals who value integrity, respect, and teamwork.


Program Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Fostering and promoting a person-centered approach to provision of support services in which choices, dignity, and independence of each individual on your caseload is considered and respected.
  • Overseeing and enhancing program operations and digital systems to support strategic goals of the organization.
  • Coordinating with and supervising Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) that provide support for your caseload of individuals. This includes monthly supervisory calls, visits, and review of documentation and clock-in and clock-out times, as well as performance reviews to ensure standards of care and compliance with state regulations and company policy and procedure.
  • Collaborating with Targeted Support Coordinators and Care Coordinators of the individuals on your caseload to ensure appropriate and effective provision of supports. This includes attending Individual Support Plan meetings, reporting incidents, and strategizing for the best care solutions of each individual.
  • Communicating with DSPs accurate policies and procedures and providing ISP and annual trainings.
  • Creating and maintaining individuals' binders for those on your caseload, keeping information updated information including Part V reports, quarterly reports, current medical information, and annual consent forms.
  • Attending all relevant meetings, training sessions, and professional development seminars and classes.
  • This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, personal integrity, diligence, dependability, and commitment.


Office Manger Job Responsibilities:

This position requires a highly proactive and independent professional who can manage office tasks with moderate direction and proficiently utilize various computer platforms and programs our company employs including Microsoft Office Suite. If hired you will manage information, communicate, and solve problems with duties including emailing, documentation and data entry, organizing, general administration (sorting mail, filing paperwork, ordering supplies, etc.), and answering the phone. Key skills required:

  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Strong organizational Skills: ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
  • Systematize the office (methodically arranging, classifying data, grouping, etc.)
  • Ability to resolve operational matters efficiently
  • Integrity: performing duties with honesty, diligence, dependability, commitment; taking appropriate responsibility, and being compliant with company and state regulations, policies, and procedures.


Program Manager & Office Manager Requirements: A minimum of one year experience in the medical or a related field (social work, psychology, nursing assistance, etc.) and a high school diploma. Additionally, the following are required:

  • A current work authorization (US Passport, US Work Authorization Card, Permanent Resident Card) or a Birth Certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Current auto insurance
  • Current CPR & First Aid
  • Current physical exam
