About the Company
Our client is a leading provider of manufacturing technology and supply chain solutions for brand-name OEMs in the industrial, medical, and military/aerospace markets, with a U.S. headquarters and additional locations across the U.S. and Mexico. This is an onsite role.
Summary
The Program Manager (PM) serves as the "voice of the customer" (VOC) and leader of the Customer Focus Team (CFT). The PM is accountable for operational performance to the customer and for achieving the company's internal financial goals tied to that account. The PM works directly with Account Management (AM) and the site General Manager (GM) to drive organic business growth, and with Business Development (BDM) to launch new customers, ensuring timely, successful delivery of products, services, and solutions aligned with both customer and internal objectives. The PM also prepares and shares account metrics with AM, GM, or BDM to drive continuous improvement.
Essential Job Elements
  • Lead CFT meetings; maintain and share notes/action items internally and with the customer; follow up to close out action items on both sides
  • Lead weekly/monthly customer meetings (frequency varies by account)
  • Own the sales order process related to customer change requirements
  • Drive customer satisfaction while protecting the company's financial interests and goals
  • Manage internal metrics reporting (inventory turns, quality, OTD, tariffs/duty recovery, PPVs, E&O, etc.) and customer-facing metrics (monthly/quarterly)
  • Communicate NCNR parts to customers and obtain signoff; escalate to Account Management if no response is received; do not place parts orders without signature
  • Initiate CFT quotes/reprices with AM as needed; schedule kick-offs (low MVA, PPV, etc.) with Supply Chain Solutions Management (SCSM)
  • Maintain working knowledge of MSA terms and conditions; partner with AM on end-of-life (EOL) agreements and contract review
  • Maintain profitability per company objectives; review project costs against quotations to ensure margins are met
  • Develop and cultivate new business opportunities
  • Escalate unresolved issues promptly to limit customer and internal risk
  • Manage ECO/ECN implementation and present cost impact to customers with recovery PO
  • Partner closely with Operations to ensure timely implementation of production schedules
  • Interface with key internal managers to escalate projects as needed for completion
  • Support all ISO standards and corporate/site 5S objectives
  • Present excess & obsolete (E&O) inventory to customers monthly and drive resolution with AM; coordinate the E&O Mitigation Plan
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree
  • CEPM certification or equivalent experience preferred

Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in electronics contract manufacturing preferred
  • Program Manager experience in an aerospace and defense environment
