Military Valves Program Manager
We are looking for a Military Valves Program Manager to join our Target Rock team!
As our Program Manager you will be responsible for the performance of the Military Valves Program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures, and guidelines. You are responsible for managing all projects for the applicable product line, taking into consideration Customer's needs as well as the Company's requirements. Ensure all project commitments are met, on schedule, by all departments including Engineering, Operations, Quality and Accounting.
Location: East Farmingdale, NY
Salary/hourly rate: $120,700 to $140,000

Your Challenge
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams to ensure all project commitments are satisfied
  • Create, track, assign and distribute various documentation/reports for managing and monitoring the applicable programs, including Sales Plan, Delivery Reports, Project Schedules, and Kick-off Meeting Minutes
  • Establish, track, and monitor all project budgets and based upon actual project performance; contingency and/or recovery plans are developed, implemented, and monitored as required
  • Support Sales in request for quotes (RFQ) and/or invitations to bid (ITB) reviews, spec. reviews, terms, and conditions (T&C) review and project/budget histories
  • Customer interface including scheduling Customer Audits, Surveillance Inspections and providing Project Progress Reports as required
  • Approve and assign all Returned Material Authorizations (RMA) and Warranty Projects as necessary
  • Apprise senior management of all concerns noted in the course of performing daily activities
  • Additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by Supervisor

What You Bring
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Finance
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in Program/Project Management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office
  • Competencies: Project management, negotiations, contract management, strategic planning, budgeting, project finance
  • Six Sigma certification preferred
  • PMP Preferred
