The purpose of this position is to effectively manage equipment/facility and vehicles assigned to 402 AMXG. Develop reports, analyze workload routinely regarding requirements for production support and test equipment. Conduct reviews of support equipment inventories to determine proper inventory levels are maintained on Table of Allowance (TA) accounts. Briefs division and all management levels of aging, vehicle status, performs monthly inspections for compliance with policies and procedures, conducts investigative studies on all vehicle related accidents and problems. Complies with all security and safety requirements and guidelines ensuring adequacy for mission accomplishment. Represents AMXG on flight line and parking plan development matters regarding assigned tasks. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):
1. Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.
2. Knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.
3. Knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition., supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.
4. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with accuracy, and maintain good working relations with all individuals and organizations.
5. Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.
6. Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.
