Job description

When you work as a Program Manager II at KCAS, you get to further our mission by managing client programs within a business unit, serving as a primary point of contact for clients while driving program execution, communication, and overall client satisfaction. You will work closely with Laboratory Directors, laboratory managers, and Business Development to manage contracted work, anticipate client needs, and proactively address risks.
Our Program Management team partners across operations, quality, and commercial functions to ensure alignment between client expectations and laboratory execution, supporting high-quality delivery of bioanalytical services.
In this role, we will rely on you to:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing relationships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
  • Lead program oversight, ensuring alignment between client expectations, study execution, and timelines
  • Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success
  • Act as a strategic liaison between clients and internal teams, balancing priorities and driving solutions
  • Communicate program status, risks, and key updates to both clients and internal leadership
  • Independently address client questions, concerns, and escalations
  • Lead scope definition for new work from existing clients in partnership with Business Development
  • Support pricing strategy discussions and assist with quotes and change orders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and program data within tracking systems
  • Drive forecasting of client work and support revenue visibility
  • Mentor and provide guidance to more junior Program Managers as needed
  • Perform all aspects of the job in a way that supports company brand and supports company mission, vision, and values

To qualify specifically for this role, you will have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a Contract Research Organization (CRO) environment overseeing or managing projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and program execution
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to proactively identify risks and drive solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and execution discipline
