Job purpose

The Territory Manager, Medical Dermatology is responsible for achieving all territory sales goals through the promotion, sale and support of our acne prescription products. They will report into the Regional Sales Manager, Medical Dermatology.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Directing one-to-one communication with physicians and health care professionals in support of approved product indications
  • Contacting medical professionals and competitively explaining features and benefits of products offered; including managing objections
  • Communicating about and being a key touchpoint/resource in the patient access/benefit program
  • Planning and organizing speakers' programs and other peer to peer activities in territory in partnership with Medical
  • Leading execution of Lunch and Learn programs
  • Communicating competitive market intelligence to brand teams and management
  • Timely and accurate completion of all administrative expectations
  • Responsible for complying with Canadian drug regulations (Health Canada. Innovative Medicines Canada regulations and Sun's Policies) relative to field drug promotion

Additional responsibility (Only applicable to customer facing roles)

Report any adverse event received from customers for company products to the pharmacovigilance department / Drug Safety on the same day or within 1 business day

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 3-5 years' pharmaceutical sales experience is required

  • High personal initiative, commitment and strong problem-solving skills

Le ou la Gestionnaire de territoire - Dermatologie medicale est responsable de l'atteinte de tous les objectifs de ventes sur son territoire par la promotion, la vente et le soutien de nos produits sur ordonnance pour le traitement de l'acne. La personne titulaire du poste releve du ou de la Gestionnaire regional(e) des ventes - Dermatologie medicale.

Responsabilites principales

  • Assurer des communications individualisees aupres des medecins et des professionnels de la sante afin de soutenir les indications approuvees des produits
  • Contacter les professionnels de la sante et presenter de facon concurrentielle les caracteristiques et les avantages des produits, incluant la gestion des objections
  • Communiquer activement sur le programme d'acces et de remboursement des patients et agir a titre de ressource cle a ce sujet
  • Planifier et organiser, en collaboration avec l'equipe medicale, des conferences et autres activites de pairs a pairs sur le territoire
  • Assurer l'execution des programmes Lunch and Learn
  • Communiquer en temps opportun les renseignements concurrentiels et les donnees du marche aux equipes de marque et a la direction
  • Completer avec rigueur et dans les delais requis toutes les taches administratives

Qualifications

Baccalaureat requis et minimum de 3 a 5 ans d'experience en ventes pharmaceutiques.

Haut niveau d'initiative personnelle, fort engagement et solides aptitudes en resolution de problemes
