Job description

IT Shipboard Project Manager (2 Openings)

Location: Miramar, FL (4 Days/Week Onsite)
Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
W2 Contract
Interview: Video
Visa: Must be able to convert without sponsorship

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of Project Management experience leading large, complex IT projects

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies in a Waterfall environment

  • Experience managing enterprise technology initiatives and cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and issue-resolution skills

  • Experience with project planning, scope management, budgeting, procurement, and vendor management

  • Ability to define and drive project schedules and ensure alignment with business and IT objectives

  • Valid Passport required with ability to travel at least 50%

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP Certification preferred

  • Previous shipboard or cruise industry experience is a plus

  • Experience supporting Dry Dock projects is highly desirable

  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure and technology deployments

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Program Manager in planning and execution of shipboard IT projects

  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations

  • Coordinate cross-functional business and IT teams

  • Oversee vendor engagements, procurement activities, and project documentation

  • Lead design discussions, approvals, and project governance activities

  • Ensure alignment of project objectives with IT strategy and operational goals

  • Support Dry Dock initiatives when required
