Job description

Summary:

We are seeking a Program Manager to join our team located in Davie, FL!

The Program Manager leads customer programs from inquiry to nomination through launch, coordinating cross-functional teams to meet quality, cost, timing, and performance objectives. This role serves as a key customer interface and drives successful program execution throughout the program lifecycle.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to complete assigned programs on time, to specifications, and within established targets.
  • Develop and maintain program timing, milestones, deliverables, and action items.
  • Organize and track project progress using OPLs, timelines, Trello, shared folders, and internal KPI files.
  • Monitor program progress, milestones, deliverables, and open actions to ensure timing and performance objectives are met.
  • Communicate program status, milestones, risks, and open issues to customers, management, and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary program-level liaison between KUS and its customers; lead customer meetings, present program updates, document minutes and action items, and drive follow-up through closure.
  • Identify program risks and customer or internal issues; drive resolution, mitigation, recovery, and escalation as needed.
  • Manage program changes and monitor cost and commercial impacts in collaboration with Business Development and relevant stakeholders.
  • Complete program handoff to the KA team at the production phase, including APQP requirements, PSW sign-off, and Handoff Sheet.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in program or project management.
  • Strong understanding of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple programs, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong meeting management, presentation, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, and related project management tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of program/project management or comparable project coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, technical environment.
  • Automotive or manufacturing industry experience preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and automotive product development processes is a plus.
