Job description

About the Role:

We have a current opening for a Maintenance Supervisor (RMT) Automation and Calibration and are actively reviewing applications.

Supervising maintenance, supporting interventions, collaborating in the new projects' realization. Defining, organizing and managing the realization of periodical revisions programs, ordinary, extraordinary and soft intervention, optimizing relative costs in order to achieve determined production results, both in qualitative and quantitative terms, respecting the given deadlines. Coordinating and organizing maintenance activities in order to ensure the plants workability (devices) and the highest level of reliability and efficiency of production lines.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
  • Drive TPM standards, including centerlining and autonomous maintenance, to reduce variability and improve first-time-right performance
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and enhance asset performance
  • Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Breakdown Analysis (BDA) to resolve equipment failures and implement sustainable solutions
  • Lead Focused Improvement (FI) initiatives in collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to eliminate chronic losses
  • Oversee and support the PLC/Automation team and industrial network systems
  • Manage and lead the Calibration program and team, ensuring compliance and accuracy of all equipment
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring effective use of labor, materials, and external resources
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze performance trends, and drive continuous improvement actions
  • Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and new installations
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, quality, and food safety standards
  • Manage and develop maintenance technicians, promoting strong technical capability and Lean behaviors
  • Oversee contractors, suppliers, spare parts, and maintenance budgets
  • Perform other duties as assigned
About You:
  • Solid knowledge of food manufacturing processes, equipment, and maintenance practices (preferably in the confectionery or food sector)
  • Strong background in maintenance leadership within manufacturing environments
  • Experience with automation systems (PLC, ladder logic), calibration programs, and industrial drives
  • Strong electrical competence with the ability to read and interpret schematics and prints
  • Proven expertise in TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and reliability best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Good understanding of mechanical systems (pumps, valves, motors) and integrated operations
  • Knowledge of instrumentation (temperature, weight, level sensors, flowmeters)
  • Basic knowledge of robotics and industrial networks (considered an asset)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and working knowledge of SAP
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • General software and technical literacy for maintenance and troubleshooting activities

The base compensation range for this position is $95,000  - $115,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
