Advanced Management Strategies Group (AMSG) is seeking a Program Manager to support a prospective effort with EXLOG. This is a Contingent Hire position.
AMSG delivers high-quality program and performance management services across a broad federal portfolio. Our clients include the Department of Defense (DoD), (including Marine Corps, Army, and Air Force), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Defense Health Agency (DHA), Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Washington Headquarters Service (WHS) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Position Summary
Lead task-order execution and serve as the primary management interface with the Government for LPOV Expeditionary Logistics support. The Program Manager will align personnel and resources, manage quality and delivery performance, and coordinate priorities and solutions with the COR and LPOV leadership.
Location: Hybrid Pentagon and Contractor Facility.Government business hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday; schedules must support Government business hours and required core coverage.
Clearance: An active Level TS/SCI clearance is required.
Estimated Start Date: 13 September 2026
Travel Requirements: May require CONUS/OCNUS travel
Desired Experience and Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least eight years managing and directing DoD projects or programs involving logistics initiatives and/or technology development or integration.
  • At least eight years supporting USMC Headquarters departments and coordinating with the Fleet Marine Force.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams in a dynamic Military Service environment.
  • Experience integrating Marine Corps Force Design and logistics requirements.
  • Experience with project methodologies, facilitation, charters, POA&Ms, performance tracking, and return-on-investment documentation.
  • PMP certification.
  • Process-improvement experience and certification.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing travel budgets and executive-level reporting.
Direct experience supporting HQMC I&L, Logistics Plans, Policies and Strategic Mobility Division, or comparable Service headquarters organizations.
Responsibilities
Direct overall task-order performance, staffing, quality control, schedules, risks, and customer coordination.
Provide daily program-management support to LPOV Branch leadership and align resources across all five PWS tasks.
Develop and maintain program/project management plans and a quality-control plan responsive to emerging priorities.
Prepare weekly activity inputs, quarterly Program Management Reviews, and the annual PMR covering costs, schedules, risks, accomplishments, and next-period plans.
Maintain deliverable controls, internal reviews, action tracking, and accepted records on the designated LPOV SharePoint site.
Plan and track contract travel, travel funding, and trip reports in coordination with the COR.
Develop and review Service-level headquarters tasks in ETMS2 or an equivalent system, integrate team inputs, and consolidate responses through the three-star level.
