Position Summary: The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue and profit growth within the global defense market. This position is directly responsible for planning and managing all sales activities within assigned market. The Sales Manager will provide business intelligence and establish clear goals, strategies and initiatives that enable CentroMotion brands [CBF, maximatecc (specific focus), Power-Packer, Weasler, GITS, Elliott] to increase its market share in this strategic market.


Responsibilities:


ยท Lead sales to develop and sustainably grow customer base, implement CentroMotion strategies, support all regions on new opportunities, and drive a high level of accountability within customer base.


ยท Develop and implement both tactics and long-term sales strategies geared toward greater market share and profitability.


ยท Define and manage CentroMotionโ€™s value proposition to the market, customers and industry including service, price and product sales strategies.


ยท Work extensively with Sales Director on development and implementation of market, product, and customer strategies.


ยท Coordinate and utilize external market research, competitive benchmarking, and service data as necessary to identify opportunities.


ยท Continually evaluate the timely adjustment of sales strategies and forecasts to meet changing market competitive conditions.


ยท Develop & maintain strategic accounts. Develop effective executive level relationships and broad networks of contacts with target customers.


ยท Lead the review, analysis, and recommendation of new business opportunities.

ยท Work extensively with other roles in sales and marketing (analysts, customer service, and marketing) as well as other functions including R&D, operations, and finance to meet or exceed customer expectations and to build / reinforce a positive CentroMotion brand promise.


Requirements


ยท Minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales management & business development experience in technical sales or product management within manufacturing and the defense market. ITAR complaint (US citizen).


ยท Bachelorโ€™s degree, Engineering or Technical degree preferred.


ยท Must be an excellent communicator as well as possess strong analytical abilities.


ยท Excellent interpersonal skills; good with people; able to manage deadlines.


ยท Demonstrate effective leadership and people management skills.


ยท Versed and proficient in sales processes.


ยท Effective Time Management skills.


ยท Salesforce experience.


ยท Ability to travel: 50%
