Job Description: 

The Program Manager directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Drives program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs. Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contracts and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, Statements of Work, specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contracts. Acts as the primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Collaborates on strategic roadmaps that align with customer roadmaps to expand the business. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical and administrative areas. Leads competitive and sole source pursuits and proposals. This position will be supporting the Product Sustainment & Services business area under Advanced Enterprise Systems.

Essential Functions:

  • Management of programs involving sustainment of SIGINT technology for integrated or podded platform applications and/or design, integration, and installation services for aircraft programs that are of significant strategic importance to the business area.
  • Establish and execute program plans in a mixed contract construct (T&M/FFP/CPFF).
  • Effectively communicate within the team, upward with internal executive leadership, and externally with the customer to influence stakeholders for business success.
  • Work collaboratively with the functional organizations to ensure that all resources are available, capable, and empowered to meet program goals.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to support problem-solving and innovative solutions.
  • Ensure timely deliveries to meet customer requirements.
  • Develop management control systems to facilitate financial planning and cost analysis.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project delays or issues.
  • Track and report on project progress, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Develop and manage project cost accounts, including budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting.
  • Track project cost performance and analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs.
  • Up to 15% business travel to other L3Harris and customer sites.
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum 8 years of prior related experience
