Our Enterprise Performance organization seeks a level 3 Program Planner to join our mission in Highlands Ranch, CO supporting the Orion Program. Lockheed Martin is the prime contractor building the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, NASA's first spacecraft designed for long-duration, human-rated deep space exploration. Orion will transport humans to interplanetary destinations beyond low Earth orbit, such as asteroids, the moon and eventually Mars, and return them safely back to Earth.

In this role you will: Partner with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions. Be responsible for developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy. Provide the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develop recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts.

Ensure all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused. Prepare/coordinate the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response. Interface with program management, senior management and the customer as the programs planning integrator.

Ensure vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts. Devise modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments. Utilize performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance.

#LMSpaceProgramPlanners Basic Qualifications 3-5 years of previous planning/scheduling experience Experience with a planning tool (e.g. OpenPlan, Microsoft Project, Acumen, One Pager Pro, Primavera, Excel, or other comparable tools) Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts (such as critical path analysis, cost/schedule integration, performance metrics, program start-up activities) Desired Skills Bachelors Degree 5 + years of previous planning/scheduling experience Previous EVM experience Understanding of the end - to - end lifecycle of a spacecraft/satellite program Understanding all of the Program Performance Management Process Demonstrated competency in integrating cost/schedule Prior team lead experience Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team Strong sense of follow - up and closure with attention to detail Self-starter able to operate with minimal guidance Desire and willingness to support dynamic proposal activities Strong problem solving skills to identify and resolve challenges that arise Ability to make sound decisions Ability to communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
