Our Enterprise Performance organization seeks a level 2 Program Planner to join our mission in Highlands Ranch, CO supporting various programs and strategic initiatives within in our Commercial Civil Space line of business supporting the Orion Program. Lockheed Martin is the prime contractor building the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, NASA's first spacecraft designed for long-duration, human-rated deep space exploration. Orion will transport humans to interplanetary destinations beyond low Earth orbit, such as asteroids, the moon and eventually Mars, and return them safely back to Earth.
As our Program Planner, you will...
Partner with Program, Capture & Senior Management
to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by
facilitating integration across all functions
Develop compliant Integrated Program Schedules
which accurately validate the flow, budget, and
resources required to execute contractual scope and
overarching program strategy
Provide time-phased critical path predictive analysis
and actionable planning data, and develop
recommended solutions to programmatic execution
conflicts
Ensure all commitments are tracked, monitored and
statused
Prepare/coordinate the development of planning
artifacts for solicitation response
Interface with program management, senior
management and the customer as the programs
planning integrator
Ensure vertical and horizontal integration, and
cost/schedule integration between all schedules and
other program artifacts
Devise modeling and measuring techniques to
integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and
cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk
assessments
Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program
performance
