Our facility at Kennedy Space Center in Florida seeks a level 2 Production Planning & Control (PP&C) Master Production Scheduler to join our mission supporting NASA's Orion Program. Lockheed Martin is the prime contractor building the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle that will transport humans to interplanetary destinations beyond low Earth orbit such as the Moon, Mars, and return them safely back to Earth. Reporting directly to the PP&C manager, you will be responsible for KSC Assembly Test Launch Operations (ATLO) master production schedule development, execution, and closure.

In this role you will... Analyze the Orion product structure and work with stakeholders to develop detailed master production schedules Coordinate with manufacturing to provide shop floor control, analyze and control production schedule and capacity requirements, execute the plan, provide timely status and expedite work around plans to preserve schedules Coordinate with supply chain stakeholders to determine a time-phased plan and execute processes to ensure production schedule requirements are met Facilitate daily meetings with multiple disciplines; drive the execution of scheduled tasks and assist with resolving work stoppages Direct team members including shop floor control, buy/make planners and be responsible for reporting progress to leadership Perform Make, Buy and Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions Maintain production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization to minimize cost and expedite and optimize material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements #LMSpaceRA Supporting production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performing activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering

The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations. Basic Qualifications Minimum of 2-4 years of prior professional experience Must have experience developing schedules in Microsoft Project or comparable scheduling tool Must have demonstrated knowledge with SAP MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) processes Must have demonstrated knowledge of program & engineering planning and how production schedules relate to the program Integrated-Master-Schedule (IMS) Must have demonstrated experience with production schedule backward pass analysis to ascertain engineering release need dates and component on dock need dates Must have demonstrated experience with managing Make/Buy and Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transaction Due to work location requirements, U.S

citizenship is required Desired Skills Minimum of 2 years of hands on experience with planning, scheduling, or executing work within the Orion ATLO environment Prior production scheduling background with hands on experience developing production schedules with Microsoft Project Experience analyzing large product structure drawing trees to develop production flows/schedules Demonstrated Project Management experience working initiatives covering a wide scope of Production Planning and Control (PP&C) and/or supply chain activities Experience in a large capacity production planning role with proven communication and teaming skills Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills Inventory Control and material handling knowledge Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
