Technical Program Leader, Senior Manager
The Opportunity:
You know that program managers touch every single part of a business and wear multiple hats: from caring for the customer and their meaningful project goals to participating in business development and being a key contributor to their employees' growth. We're looking for someone like you, a senior program leader that can oversee a divers e portfolio of research and data science initiatives supporting Army customers. This role is responsible for end-to-end program execution, including managing budget s, deliverables, subcontractors, and geographically distributed teams across multiple concurrent projects to support one of the DoW's data research and analytics environments.
As a leader on our team, you will provide strong operational leadership, ensuring effective staffing, clear scope definition, and consistent delivery while serving as a t rus ted partner to both customers and internal teams. You will oversee the delivery of data engineering, data science, research, and enterprise platform IT operations. As you guide a team of data architects, data engineers, and data scientists, you'll partner with customers to support operating an efficient and effective analytical or AI platform for critical research programs. In addition to driving performance, you will play a key role in shaping strategy, identifying innovative solutions, and supporting the growth and sustainment of the program within a dynamic research environment. You'll move quickly in an exciting and fluid environment to lead the Agile development of a project roadmap, establish project milestones, and implement met rics to track progress of efforts while bringing people together to make a tangible difference.

You Have:
  • 12+ years of experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing programs such as data platforms, engineering, data science, enterprise analytics, and solution architecture
  • 12+ years of experience building and sustaining partnerships with government organizations and senior government executives
  • 12+ years of experience with leadership, including leading dispersed cross-functional teams in the areas of engineering, architecture, analytics, and AI / ML, including subcontractors
  • 10+ years of experience leading the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data platforms and analytics
  • Experience leveraging client relationships, market knowledge, and government acquisition best practices to position the Army account and Army customers for continued growth, opportunity wins, and long-term initiatives to advance AI or research, defining scope of work, and developing schedules, plans of action, and ROM estimates to drive successful program execution and risk management
  • Knowledge of Agile met hodologies and their application within complex research and data science environments and data quality standards, governance, and best practices to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance across analytical and research efforts
  • Ability to manage large programs and interface with senior DoD clients
  • Ability to recruit, hire, and strategically staff high performing teams aligned to mission needs and evolving project demands
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $142,900.00 to $266,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
