About the role
T2 Group is a leading consulting and professional services firm specializing in healthcare innovation and transformation. We partner with healthcare facilities to optimize their workflows, implement cutting-edge technologies, and enhance patient care and operations through strategic initiatives. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead a large-scale Epic decision tree implementation for a prestigious nationally ranked healthcare client.
Role Summary:
As a Senior Program Manager, you will be the leader at the forefront of this program, working closely with hospital staff, vendors, and senior management , to ensure project execution. You will be responsible for building an Agile framework to manage the various teams' day-to-day tasks and reporting. We are looking for a strategic and creative thinker who can lead and coach all teams involved while driving the implementation process to be as efficient as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
o Lead Epic decision tree implementation projects, collaborating with cross-functional and vendor teams to ensure seamless implementation of in scope solutions.
    • Drive strategic initiatives to optimize implementation processes, focusing on streamlining and reducing the time for completion without compromising quality.
    • Utilize decision tree workflows and understand the nuances of specialties and ambulatory care to design effective solutions.
    • Conduct retrospectives and process optimizations to enhance delivery and quality of implementation.
    • Apply a thorough understanding and experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, including hybrid approaches, to meet project demands.
    • Navigate the complexities of large healthcare facilities, understanding patient access and the intricacies of healthcare delivery.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear updates and strategic insights.
    • Utilize advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to analyze data and present findings in a compelling manner.

Required:
    • Proven experience in managing EPIC decision tree implementations with a strong portfolio of successful healthcare implementation projects.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing complex, matrixed project teams in a healthcare setting.
    • Solid understanding of healthcare processes, governance, and the ability to operationalize projects strategically.
    • Proven knowledge and understanding of waterfall and agile scrum project methodologies.
    • Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is highly desirable
    • Exceptional documentation and reporting skills, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with the skill to engage and inform stakeholders effectively.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • An understanding of patient access and the challenges faced by large healthcare facilities.

    • Must be able to travel to New York , at least once a month if necessary.
