The Senior Distinguished I, Technical Program Manager leads complex, large-scale strategic programs across the enterprise, driving alignment and execution of business and technology solutions. This role requires expertise in program planning, technical design, stakeholder engagement, and risk management to deliver high-impact outcomes. The position involves defining frameworks, optimizing resource efficiency, and fostering consensus among teams. The manager proactively identifies improvements, mentors team members, and ensures quality delivery by integrating emerging technologies and best practices. Strong communication and analytical skills support effective decision-making and program success in a dynamic environment.
About the team:
The Fraud and Risk Engineering team develops and manages critical platforms that detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and risk across Walmart’s global commerce ecosystem. This team integrates large-scale software engineering, real-time decisioning, data platforms, AI, machine learning, risk intelligence, and operational tools to safeguard customers, associates, sellers, merchants, and the business. Members collaborate closely with stakeholders to design and implement scalable solutions, drive program execution, and ensure technical excellence. The team values strategic program management, technical leadership, and innovative problem-solving to deliver secure and reliable commerce experiences worldwide.
What you'll do:
  • Define and execute program implementation strategies impacting enterprise-wide domains, securing cross-functional commitment.
  • Lead end-to-end system solution design for complex technical initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and architectural standards.
