Job description

About Us:
Homebound is on a mission to make it possible for anyone, anywhere, to build a home using technology. Created by an experienced team of construction, real estate, design, and technology experts, Homebound is transforming the residential construction industry by improving the costly and inefficient process of building a home.
We've created an entirely new way to build homes with technology powering every stage from start to finish to provide a seamless experience for our customers. Homeowners across the country can choose where they want to live, select a home plan that's perfect for them, then personalize and buy it, all online. Homebound has raised $150M in capital from leading venture capitalists like Google, Khosla, Thrive Ventures, and we're scaling quickly in places like Texas, Colorado and Florida. Come build your future with us.
About The Role:
As the Implementation Manager, you will ensure that Homebound's technology and AI deliver measurable improvements in speed, quality, and cost across our homebuilding operations. You will lead technology implementation, change management, process optimization, and cross-functional execution, helping bridge the gap between our product and operations teams to drive platform adoption and operational excellence.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role for a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, influences without authority, and operates as both a strategic thinker and strong executor. Reporting to technology leadership, you will partner closely with product, operations, and field teams to help scale the systems, tools, and processes transforming a $1 Trillion industry.
What You'll Do:
  • End-to-End Technology Implementation: Develop launch strategy for proprietary technology across field and central operations. Own rollout timelines, stakeholder alignment, and training programs to ensure smooth deployments.
  • Change Management & Field Enablement: Drive change management initiatives. Establish shared goals, document best practices, and translate field feedback into product insights in partnership with product managers. Design and lead training programs with clear learning objectives and measurement goals. Serve as an escalation point for operators, without becoming a critical path.
  • Platform Adoption and Impact: Own and track KPIs related to platform adoption, engagement, and operational performance. Support efforts to ensure technology is generating measurable business results and reliable data to train our AI models. Diagnose root cause of impact blockers and drive interventions to course correct.
  • Workflow and Process Optimization: Partner with operations to design and implement optimized workflows within the platform. Identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements to execution speed, quality, and consistency. Synthesize insights and observed needs into actionable input for the product team.
  • Cross-Functional Program Delivery: Contribute to complex, cross-functional initiatives that span end-to-end operations. Build strong working relationships across teams and maintain effective collaboration with front line construction partners.

What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program coordination, solutions implementation, operations, project management, or process improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to support change management and technology adoption in operationally complex or distributed environments.
  • Experience in residential construction, homebuilding, field operations technology, or similarly hands-on industries is a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, with field immersion in Texas expected at least monthly.
  • Strong analytical skills including KPI tracking, root cause analysis, and data-informed decision making.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between field needs, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
  • A structured thinker who can balance tactical execution with an understanding of how processes scale across the organization.

Our Commitment:
We are focused on building a diverse and inclusive workforce. If you're excited about this role, but do not meet 100% of the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply. To apply, please submit an application with your resume on the Career's page.
