Position Purpose
The Coordinator of Program Integration and Institutional Research supports the District's instructional technology applications, assessment platforms, learning management systems, digital resources, application integrations, and related program evaluation and institutional research initiatives.
This role coordinates digital application integrations, data sharing agreements, interoperability processes, stakeholder engagement surveys, and external research requests to support student learning and educator effectiveness aligned to District priorities through strong data governance, interoperability, and user access processes. In collaboration with cross-functional departments, the coordinator designs, conducts, and implements rigorous evaluations of strategic initiatives and statutorily required programs, providing actionable insights that improve program effectiveness, inform decision-making, and advance District priorities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Serves as the District administrator for instructional enterprise technology platforms by overseeing system administration, user access, interoperability, data governance, technical support, and vendor partnerships to ensure secure, reliable, and effective technology services that support student learning, educator effectiveness, and District operations.
  • Coordinates the deployment, implementation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of Districtwide instructional technology applications, assessment platforms, digital resources, application integrations, and interoperability technologies, including user access, provisioning, and data synchronization.
  • Coordinates cross-functional projects involving instructional technology, digital resources, system integrations, program evaluation, and strategic District initiatives by facilitating communication, managing timelines, and supporting successful implementation.
  • Coordinates Data Sharing Agreements (DSAs), external research requests, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) processes to ensure effective data governance, privacy, and operational oversight.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional departments to design, conduct, and implement rigorous evaluations of strategic initiatives and statutorily required programs, providing actionable insights to improve effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Coordinates stakeholder engagement surveys, program evaluations, and other data collection initiatives by developing survey instruments, administering data collection activities, analyzing results, and communicating findings that support continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
  • Develops and maintains program evaluation frameworks, performance measures, and success metrics to assess implementation fidelity, operational effectiveness, and outcomes of instructional initiatives.
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate programs, identify trends, measure outcomes, and develop recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
  • Develops reports, presentations, and technical documentation to communicate findings, support operational planning, and inform District leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with District departments, campuses, vendors, and external partners to evaluate, implement, support, and continuously improve instructional technology systems, operational processes, and District initiatives.
  • Develops and maintains user guides, standard operating procedures, job aids, and other support resources while serving as a technical and operational resource for District staff.
  • Maintains documentation for digital integrations, application inventories, program evaluation activities, research requests, vendor implementations, and associated agreements to support accountability and informed decision-making.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in scheduling and availability, including extended or adjusted work hours during peak compliance periods, monitoring cycles, and critical deadlines, to ensure timely and accurate execution of responsibilities.

  • Performs preventive maintenance on tools and equipment and ensures equipment is in safe operating condition.
  • Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and climbing; operates tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.

  • Knowledge of data governance, data privacy, Data Sharing Agreements (DSAs), and applicable laws, regulations, and District policies.
  • Knowledge of program evaluation, research methodologies, survey administration, and qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.
  • Knowledge of project management, process improvement, and organizational change principles.
  • Skill in applying analytical methodologies and technology tools to collect, analyze, interpret, and present data that supports District leadership and strategic decision-making.
  • Skill in analyzing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate programs and support data-informed decision-making.

Required Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in Education, Computer Science, or a related field required.
      • Advanced graduate degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Certification/License: Valid Texas teaching certificate preferred
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience supporting instructional technology, enterprise technology systems, program evaluation, institutional research, or a closely related field.
    • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects involving multiple departments, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience implementing, managing, or supporting instructional technology platforms, digital resources, or system integrations at scale preferred.
    • Experience supporting application integrations, interoperability standards (e.g., SSO, LTI, and rostering), and enterprise technology systems across multiple platforms preferred.
    • Experience administering stakeholder engagement surveys, program evaluations, or institutional research initiatives, including analyzing results to support continuous improvement preferred.
    • Experience ensuring data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance while identifying system improvements that enhance reliability, user access, and overall system performance preferred.
