Job Summary:


PD is a management position within Amplified Therapy, Inc. (Company) whose primary responsibility is the operation of the assigned early intervention program. The PD role includes leadership responsibilities that ensure the mission, vision and values are being modeled for the staff members within the assigned EI Program. Duties include, but are not limited to leadership duties, professional development of staff, participation in Quality Management Program, ensuring the Early Intervention Service Delivery System is operating per Company’s expectations, participation in the Company Marketing Plan, compliance with all standards and regulations set by Company, and being a contributing member of the Management Team for the overall health and success of the Company. PD will carry out all duties, tasks, and assignments in a confidential, competent, and professional manner within established deadlines, in compliance with all legal and Company requirements, under the direct supervision of the Early Intervention Manager.


Qualifications:



  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, social work, counseling, psychology, nursing, special education, early childhood education, or any other health care related field.

  • An Associate’s degree in another field plus two (2) years of direct experience in serving individuals with disabilities and/or families.

  • A minimum of 2 years of leadership or business management experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office platforms.


Training and Supervision Requirements:



  • Certification as a Developmental Specialist II or III within ninety (90) days of hire.

  • Certification as an Infant-Toddler Developmental Assessment (IDA) evaluator within ninety (90) days of hire.

  • Training for family service coordination in accordance with NM FIT Program standards within one (1) year of hire.


Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Works towards fulfilling Company’s Mission, Vision and Values.

  • Participates in ensuring that assigned Company Key Performance Indicators are being met.

  • Participates in Essentials of Project Management.

  • Participates in Company Strategic Planning.

  • Participates in Company’s Professional Development Plan.

  • Assists in Company’s Quality Management System to ensure quality checkpoints, quality control, and quality assurance directives are completed. Within the EI Service Delivery system, ensures quality of services delivered meet Company’s standards, including quality of documentation and professionalism.

  • Participates in Company Marketing Plan and assists with organization and execution of Child Finds and other community outreach efforts to generate targeted referrals.

  • Maintains FSC/DS licensure; may be asked to perform duties within these job roles as needed.

  • Provides reflective supervision for FSC/DS staff.

  • Manages all staff within assigned program including caseloads, time keeping, vacation approval, and training.

  • Assists Human Resource Department in employee retention efforts and management of personnel issues.

  • Attends and/or facilitates community meetings and coalitions, ongoing staff meetings, Company meetings/trainings and attends the FIT regional conference.

  • Maintenance of assigned Office including inventory management, supplies, and other office management needs.

  • Assists Finance Department with assigned duties such as budgeting, purchasing, and payroll functions.

  • Maintains proficiency in EI services by attending workshops, conferences, and trainings.

  • Responds to emergency situations in a competent manner.

  • Adheres to established Company guidelines within the Company’s Official Documents.

  • Maintains assigned equipment in proper working order.

  • Performs routine repairs.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Due to the nature of the Company, service delivery settings will vary. Must be able to adapt to a variety of settings and be willing to work in clinical, community, and home settings.
