About the role:

As a Senior Program Manager you will be responsible for the successful setup and execution of AP1000 new build opportunities within Global Engineering Services. The Program Manager will oversee various aspects of the new plant opportunities with a focus on VC Summer. This includes but is not limited to planning, scheduling, budgeting, establishment of processes and procedures, as well as coordination with clients/stakeholders and internal Westinghouse teams.

You will report to the Deputy Project Director of VC Summer and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA facility. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending remote flexibility with regular on-site collaboration at our office

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure detailed development and execution of comprehensive project plans that detail the scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required to deliver new plant projects successfully.
  • Ensure that project objectives are achieved within the agreed-upon timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Lead and facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, customer, and external vendors.
  • Evaluate project risks, identify potential issues, and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize program delays, cost overruns, or quality issues.
  • Monitor and report project progress, provide regular updates to project stakeholders, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Develop relationships with clients, vendors, and other partners, and promote our reputation as a leader in the nuclear industry.
  • Continually assess and evaluate program performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Support the business development team by participating in the bid and tender process.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project/program management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with project management software tools (P6, SAP, ARM) and techniques, including Earned Value Management.
