Description
Fred Beans Automotive Group is launching a new centralized BDC in Flemington, NJ, supporting 10 dealerships, and we're seeking an experienced leader to help build and lead the department from the ground up.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who excels at developing teams, driving performance, creating operational consistency, and delivering an exceptional customer experience across multiple locations.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with every other Saturday required.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
  • Launch and lead the Flemington BDC with a strong focus on structure, consistency, accountability, and culture
  • Hire, onboard, train, coach, and retain a high-performing team of BDC agents
  • Create a consistent customer experience and BDC process across 10 stores
  • Drive appointment-setting performance, confirmations, show rates, and customer engagement
  • Monitor daily activity including calls, emails, texts, response times, tasks, and follow-up
  • Maintain CRM accuracy, lead quality, and proper appointment and customer logging
  • Coach agents using performance data, call reviews, and live observations
  • Hold short daily team meetings to set direction, review goals, and keep the team focused
  • Support live TOs, escalations, objections, and difficult customer conversations when needed
  • Build strong working relationships with GMs, sales managers, and store leadership
  • Own accountability and reporting for team performance and results

  • Proven leadership experience in a BDC, internet sales, or high-volume customer contact environment
  • Strong understanding of automotive sales process, lead management, and appointment-setting
  • Experience coaching people, enforcing process, and improving performance
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead professionally and confidently
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities across several stores
  • CRM experience required; VinSolutions experience is a plus
