Position Summary...We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Manager to join the Walmart+ Distribution Partnerships team, reporting to the Director, Distribution Partnerships. The scope of this role spans across Business Development and Strategic Partnerships, from outreach to potential new partners, through negotiation and execution, to managing and growing partnerships. This individual should be a strong communicator, who can masterfully collaborate with external partners and internal cross-functional teams to drive results for our members and for the business. With benefits such as Free Delivery from Store, Free Shipping with No Order Minimum, Video Streaming with Paramount+, Burger King® Savings, Member prices on Fuel, and so much more, Walmart+ helps our members save time & money.  The Distribution Partnerships team is responsible for driving membership growth and retention by building relationships with major 3rd party companies in various industries that will provide people with greater access to Walmart+. What you’ll do
  • Build a pipeline of new distribution partnerships for Walmart+ by identifying opportunities across a wide array of industries and leading strategic discussions with prospective companies  
  • Evaluate opportunities by creating business cases based on financial sizing, project feasibility, and alignment with business strategy and plan
  • Lead contractual negotiations with strategic partners by formulating compelling data-based insights/arguments to drive win-win outcomes for Walmart+ and Walmart+ partners
  • Own the relationship with existing strategic partners, nurturing a positive relationship and serving as the subject-matter expert and advocate to garner internal support and prioritization against competing initiatives
  • Develop a multi-year strategic growth plan for each partnership to accelerate customer acquisition and engagement for Walmart+
  • Create and lead presentations to partners and senior leadership
  • Orchestrate successful delivery of initiatives through collaboration with cross functional teams
  • Legal to execute partnership contracts, amendments, and renewals
  • Marketing to develop the creative, planning and content for partner promotions across multiple digital assets
  • Product and Engineering teams to integrate with partners through APIs or promo codes
  • Go-to-Market, Member Care, Fraud, Finance, Operations, Analytics teams
  • Define and analyze business metrics and member behavior to ensure KPIs are achieved
  • Be the point of contact and leader for resolving complex partner escalations across different categories (e.g., financial, operational, technical, regulatory).
  • This position does not supervise employees.
