Job description

Eliot is seeking a Program Director to support the day-to-day operations of our Independent Living Program for court-involved youth. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in youth services and community-based programming. This role involves teaching youth independent living skills, executing treatment plans and supporting and engaging youth in community, educational, medical, behavioral health, and vocational activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee every facet of the program's operation including educational, clinical, medical and residential according to the programs contract, DYS, DEEC and Eliot's policies and procedures.
  • Conduct, ensure and monitor supervision, evaluation and professional development of staff.
  • Facilitate and attend administrative, staff, shift change, treatment, agency, department and divisional meetings.
  • Oversee and participate in orientation, training and development opportunities for staff.
  • Oversee fiscal management including petty cash and the program's annual budget.
  • Develop and maintain positive, productive working relationships with funding and licensing and community relationships.
  • Assist youth in the development and execution of treatment and crisis plans.
  • Serve as a member of the on-call rotation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, Master's preferred. 
  • Experience in a supervisory position with population 
  • Effective communication, collaboration  and organizational skills.
  • Must be 21+, with a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and emergency contact access.

Schedule: Monday- Friday, 9am- 5pm
