Position Overview

The Plumbing Manager is responsible for leading daily plumbing operations, supporting technicians, improving department performance, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service.

This role requires a strong plumbing background, leadership ability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage both people and processes. The right person will coach technicians, oversee quality standards, help resolve challenging technical issues, monitor department performance, and work with leadership to grow the plumbing division.

This is not an office-only management position. We are looking for a hands-on leader who understands the trade, can jump in when needed, and can help technicians become more skilled, efficient, and successful.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop plumbing technicians
  • Manage daily plumbing operations, schedules, workflow, and priorities
  • Support technicians with troubleshooting, technical guidance, and difficult service situations
  • Perform quality control reviews and ensure work meets company standards
  • Help establish and improve plumbing processes, procedures, and training programs

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of residential plumbing service experience preferred
  • Previous leadership, foreman, lead plumber, or plumbing management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, repairs, replacements, and diagnostics
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and guide technicians through solutions
  • Strong understanding of plumbing codes, safety practices, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication skills with homeowners and team members
  • Ability to train, coach, and motivate technicians
  • Experience managing schedules, productivity, and service operations
  • Comfortable using tablets, CRM systems, dispatch software, and technology platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive culture
  • Reliable, professional, and committed to high-quality work
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required
  • Plumbing license or applicable certifications preferred
  • Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, outdoor conditions, and residential environments as needed

Compensation

Full-time, W-2 Employment

Base Salary Range: $80,000-$110,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications, plus performance incentives.

Expected total annual earnings:

$100,000-$130,000+ per year

Compensation may include:
