Job Description: Facilities Development Management, Office of the University Architect (OUA), seeks an Architect Senior to act on behalf of the University Architect as the owner’s Design Manager during the design and construction phases of Lab, Advanced Manufacturing and Research centered projects. The primary role of the Architect Senior is to oversee the planning, architectural layouts, and technical specifications developed by Design Professionals for scientific and research facilities. Key duties include managing multidisciplinary A/E and Construction teams, to ensure compliance with building codes, lab safety codes, ASU Guidelines and aligning facility layouts with user needs and budgets. ASU maintains several campus locations, each with a unique and distinctive set of characteristics. “One university in many places” symbolizes the diversity and richness that ASU embraces in its student body, educational programs and physical settings.
