JOB DESCRIPTION

Shape the future of product delivery while crafting solutions that enhance and optimize customer experiences. Lead end-to-end processes across CFS, manage adoption, and visualize the process data as part of a team at the forefront of innovation.

As a/an Product Delivery Manager in Cloud Foundational Services (CFS), Infrastructure Platforms, you will enhance and optimize the way cloud platform products are delivered to customers by leading end-to-end delivery processes across intake, planning, execution, and reporting. You will partner inclusively with CFS leaders, engineers, and stakeholders across Enterprise Technology Product Lines and Lines of Business to drive adoption, best practices, and measurable delivery outcomes. You will use data-driven methods and automation to increase planning accuracy, reduce delivery risk, and improve customer experience through predictable execution.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads end-to-end product delivery processes across CFS, including intake through delivery closure, with measurable outcomes (e.g., on-time delivery %, throughput, and cycle-time trends).
  • Executes backlog planning and prioritization processes, translating aggregate demand and team capacity into an actionable plan with clear commitments and dependencies.
  • Mitigates delivery risks by coordinating security and risk issue intake, triage, and resolution tracking, escalating blockers early to protect delivery timelines.
  • Drives delivery feasibility decision-making by synthesizing resource availability, technical constraints, and stakeholder requirements into crisp go/no-go recommendations.
  • Reports product performance using transparent metrics and dashboards (e.g., delivery predictability, aging work items, change volume, and customer-request SLA adherence).
  • Partners with CFS leaders to refine quarterly planning, including demand aggregation, capacity planning, and visualization of delivery results across portfolios.
  • Automates process optimization through scripting workflows, leveraging Copilot in VS Code to improve data manipulation, reporting speed, and consistency.
  • Manages CFS-wide resource allocation data in shared systems, maintaining accuracy and auditability of resource plans and allocation changes.
  • Coordinates adherence to deadlines across customer feature requests, cybersecurity items, and application owner communication changes, ensuring clear ownership and follow-through.
  • Coaches teams on effective team formation and execution rituals, strengthening delivery discipline and improving planning and execution maturity over time.
  • Administers backlog management practices in Jira, improving hygiene and traceability (e.g., consistent statuses, acceptance criteria quality, and reduced stale-ticket volume).

Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience (or equivalent expertise) in product delivery, program delivery, or a closely related domain.
  • Strong understanding of delivery practices with a demonstrated track record of implementing continuous improvement processes measured through delivery KPIs.
  • Experience in product or platform-wide release management, including deployment processes and delivery strategies.
  • Effective communication and team-building skills, with the ability to align stakeholders on priorities, milestones, and tradeoffs using clear, inclusive language.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end intake and planning workflows, including demand shaping, prioritization, and dependency management.
  • Proven capability to manage delivery risk, including security/risk issue tracking, escalation, and mitigation planning to protect delivery commitments.
  • Proficiency with agile tooling and backlog operations (e.g., Jira), including planning workflows, reporting, and maintaining backlog quality.
  • Experience managing and maintaining resource allocation data with accuracy, consistency, and operational rigor (e.g., capacity assumptions, allocation changes, and historical tracking).
  • Ability to analyze and visualize process data to produce actionable insights (e.g., cycle time, throughput, aging work, and SLA performance).
  • Understanding of public cloud providers and capabilities, with AWS required and Azure and/or GCP exposure.

Preferred Qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
  • Proficiency using Copilot in VS Code to implement scripts for data manipulation and visualization (e.g., improving reporting turnaround time and data quality).
