Job description

Role- Delivery Program ManagerLocation- Hybrid- Iselin NJ/Boston MA
Role Summary
We are seeking a strong Delivery Program Manager with deep expertise in the Payments domain within Banking / Financial Services. This role will be responsible for leading large-scale, complex payment transformation programs across multiple workstreams, platforms, and stakeholder groups.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing end-to-end delivery of payments initiatives, including modernization, real-time payments, and platform transformation, while ensuring alignment with regulatory, risk, and operational requirements.
 Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Payments programs across multiple workstreams and teams
  • Manage complex initiatives spanning:
    • ACH, Wires, Real-Time Payments (RTP), Cards, and Cross-border payments
    • Payments modernization and platform transformation
  • Drive program governance, including:
    • Roadmaps, milestones, risk management, and reporting
    • Stakeholder communication across business, technology, and operations
  • Coordinate across engineering, product, operations, and vendor teams to ensure seamless delivery
  • Manage dependencies across systems such as:
    • Core banking platforms
    • Payment hubs
    • Messaging and integration layers
  • Ensure delivery aligns with regulatory, compliance, and risk frameworks
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies
  • Oversee UAT, production readiness, and go-live execution
  • Provide leadership across distributed teams and multiple delivery pods
Required Skills & Experience
  • 12–18+ years of experience in program delivery within Banking / Financial Services
  • Strong experience managing Payments programs (ACH, Wires, RTP, Cards, etc.)
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale, complex transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of payments architecture, platforms, and processing flows
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Strong program governance, risk management, and delivery execution skills
  • Experience working in Agile / hybrid delivery environments
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Embedded Payments / Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) models
  • Exposure to payments modernization initiatives (ISO 20022, real-time payments, API-driven payments)
  • Experience working with payment hubs, orchestration layers, and API ecosystems
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) and microservices architectures
  • Experience working with FinTech partners or third-party payment providers
