Job description

The Developmental Care Program, has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Program Coordinator to join our team.  We are a multidisciplinary team with an expertise in NICU developmental care and in the sequalae of medical diagnoses as they pertain to developmental outcomes for babies born preterm.  Our team helps set the stage for how parents begin their parenting roles that can last a lifetime, and we have a specialized focus on the family as the current and future "growers" and "nurturers" of the infants in our unit. Our practices are consistent with current evidence-based knowledge and we have an interest in pursuing research opportunities and activities that will continue to promote best practices in this field.  We receive funding through the NM DOH Family Infant Toddler program to identify, enroll and provide early intervention services.

The Program Coordinator will oversee day-to-day operations as they relate to NM FIT billing, data entry/management, quality assurance, data auditing and data reporting. The Program Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison with NM Dept. of Health FIT Program in matters related to NM KIDS database functions. The Program Coordinator will create caseload tracking reports for required Early Intervention activities to ensure timely completion of services and timely billing. The position will also prepare data reports for Department of Health quarterly and annual program performance reviews. The Program Coordinator will collaborate with Program Director and the Director of EI Services to develop and implement procedures as they relate to direct service billing. The position will also audit and analyze client records to assure that the program complies with regulations. Additionally, the Program Coordinator will oversee the monthly billing process in collaboration with the Program Director, Director of EI services and the Neonatology Unit Administrator.
