Job description

Senior Program Coordinator (WP BHC)
We are seeking an experienced mental health professional to serve as Senior Program Coordinator at our Behavioral Health Center in White Plains, NY. This role involves working closely with the Program Director and other program leadership staff, and focuses on the management and oversight of all aspects of the clinic's intake and referral process, including screening and tracking all referral requests, ensuring rapid client engagement and appropriate clinical assessments, working with front desk and direct service staff to effectively assign cases to appropriate providers, helping to maximize individual productivity and program capacity, and facilitating constructive collaboration with new and existing referral partners.
In addition, working closely with the Program Director, the position involves overseeing and implementing a variety of performance improvement initiatives, some involving working collaboratively with external oversight bodies such as NY State OMH, others driven by internal program development needs. All require excellent change-management skills, the ability to understand and effectively navigate complex systems, and familiarity with the utilization of data-based analysis to help plan & implement the initiatives, and evaluate outcomes.
This position also involves direct supervision of therapist staff, and maintaining a small clinical caseload.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • NY State licensed clinician (LCSW preferred; LMHC or licensed psychologist accepted)
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health or collaborative care setting
  • 1-2 years of supervisory/program management experience
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation workflows
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
