A position as an Student Success Coordinator is available at East High School for the 2026-27 school year.
Summary of Duties:
A teacher on special assignment serving as Student Success Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Principal in a variety of activities, with emphasis on implementing and sustaining Multi-tiered Systems of Supports, Academic, Behavioral, and Attendance needs aligned with schoolwide practices. The position provides direct and consultative Tier II and Tier III SEL services, supports students' individualized education program (IEP) needs, and collaborates with families, school personnel, and community agencies. The work year shall be the same as for teachers plus an additional two weeks.
Qualifications Required:
  • Teaching experience required
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PBIS, multi-tiered systems of support, CASEL-aligned SEL practices, and student behavior or mental-health supports.
  • Ability to provide or coordinate Tier II and Tier III SEL interventions and to collaborate effectively with students, families, educators, support staff, and community agencies.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and guidance, while performing assigned responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and professionally.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional practice and development and staying current with effective approaches to improving SEL for students, staff, and families.
