Job Overview: 

   Reports to: General Manager

   Location: Seattle, WA & Everett, WA

   Type: Full-Time 

   Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm

POSITION SUMMARY:

Job Summary: The Program Coordinator / New Program Integrator serves as the primary point of contact for new and transitioning aerospace programs. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams to integrate new customer requirements, processes, approvals, and production workflows into Valence’s operations in Seattle and Everett. You will ensure that new programs launch on time, meet rigorous quality and compliance standards (including AS9100, NADCAP, and customerspecific approvals), achieve target margins, and support our mission to be the most trusted partner in aerospace surface finishing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration of new customer programs from contract award through production readiness, including detailed planning, risk assessment, and milestone tracking.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to translate customer specifications (drawings, process requirements, approvals, timelines) into actionable internal plans.
  • Coordinate the setup of new part numbers, routings, work instructions, tooling/masking requirements, chemical processing parameters, and quality controls.
  • Facilitate internal and external kick-off meetings, program reviews, and gate reviews to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Track and report on program status, risks, issues, and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, first-pass yield, and cost performance.
  • Support customer communications regarding program milestones, changes, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, customer, and Valence quality requirements during program launch.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lessons learned to enhance future program integrations.
  • Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation for new programs across multiple facilities.
  • Other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (Required)
  • 1+ years of program coordinating
