Meadowview of Johnston, a Cassia community in Johnston, IA, is hiring a Scheduler/ Staffing Coordinator to join our team. Here at Meadowview of Johnston, you'll be part of a supportive, mission-driven team that takes pride in making a difference every day for residents and families alike. This a great opportunity to grow your career.

As a Scheduler/ Staffing Coordinator at Meadowview of Johnston, you will organize and schedule appropriate clinical department coverage, including the master schedule, daily schedule and scheduling replacements for shifts. 

Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule including rotating weekends
Shift Available:
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Location:  5555 Pioneer Parkway, Johnston, IA 50131
 

Scheduler/ Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate schedule and staffing levels for the nursing department.
  • Interview candidates for open CNA and HHA positions.
  • Track continuing educational programs for staff.
  • Track attendance and complete disciplinary action forms.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.
Scheduler/ Staffing Coordinator Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years prior staffing/scheduling experience highly preferred.
  • Must have flexibility in scheduling including on-call hours.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
