Come find meaningful work and bring your skills as a Float Program Coordinator III. This is a grant funded, full-time position serving the sheltering departments of CRP and HYS, programs of Mid-Willamette Community Action Agency. The float Program Coordinator will travel between multiple sites as needed. The position is renewable annually based on continuation of project funding. MWVCAA operates transitional housing shelters for individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness. The Program Coordinator will aim to create a unified system, whereby basic needs and housing services are provided to clients. This position will coordinate services, being responsible for: facilitating daily operations under Program Management, purchasing and ordering of supplies, coordinating housekeeping and food services, upholding program data collection & reporting, collaborating with shelter staff, training volunteers and interns, assisting with program planning geared towards expansion of shelter service offerings, coordinating and planning enrichment opportunities as well as the provision of client centered and trauma informed care. This position collaborates with a team of case managers and community partners to ensure continuity of client services. This team offers a lot of growth opportunities and professional development through hands-on experience.Day ShiftMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of this position.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEAssociates degree in social services, public health, or related fieldTwo years of case management or social service experience Ideal candidates will possess an advanced degree with three or more years of homeless service delivery experience.Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS Driver qualifications are required for this position. Valid driver license, insured vehicle available for use on the job, and a satisfactory drive record for the previous three years are required.Basic Life Support/First Aid Certification is required within first 30 days of hire.Must obtain Food Handler's Card within 30 days of hire. Candidate must pass a comprehensive MWVCAA background screening prior to employment.Candidate must pass Oregon Department of Human Services criminal background check.Candidate must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESEffective interpersonal communication skills, in both oral and written form.Proficiencies in computers, Microsoft Office products, database software and web tools.Demonstrates tact, diplomacy and empathy when communicating with clients, staff and program partners.Possesses excellent planning, organization and time management skills.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
