Job description

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assemble program team and complete the program planning to ensure development of complete program plan and work breakdown structure.

• Define timelines/milestones/activities shared with the Business Unit team. Responsible for meeting the timing requirements of all customer and Brembo milestones/gates.

• Interact with the final (OEM) customer, jointly evaluating and managing issues during the product development process. Promptly informing/involving/escalating to management to ensure the necessary support when required.

• Report any non-compliance (quality concerns) of the product, providing where possible immediate corrective action in coordination with Quality department

• Make the first diagnosis on any quality/technical issue and take immediate needed corrective action

• Interact with suppliers and customers to define possible actions to improve product quality, defining timing and costs

• Check progress of U.S. suppliers' activity, monitoring milestones with the team, coordinating stages transition and preparing/agreeing corrective actions

• Coordinate activities among all key functions (Sales, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing) to ensure tasks are completed according to project requirements. Host weekly internal Platform meeting to align the various roles.

• Work with Finance and Sales departments to create cost models and business plans for new opportunities. Cost tracking to occur throughout project to maintain profitability of project.

• Oversee activities related customer prototype orders (internal order issuance, resolution of critical issues, follow up with customer)

• Interface with Purchasing and tiered supply base to ensure all suppliers are meeting cost/quality/timing/technical requirements.


Minimum Requirements

  • 2 years' experience in Automotive sector (chassis/brake systems)
  • Knowledge and ability to read engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of issues related to product (brake systems)
  • Knowledge of problem-solving techniques (5P, 8D, etc)
  • Microsoft Office
  • PLM Windchill experience preferred
  • Microsoft AX experience preferred
  • Multi-lingual a plus
