About the Role
The Program Coordinator I plays a vital role in supporting the successful planning, execution, and delivery of customer programs. Working closely with the Program Manager, Engineering, Contracts, and cross‑functional teams, this position helps ensure programs meet technical, schedule, and contractual requirements in accordance with FES processes and ISO standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail‑oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow within program management.
Key Responsibilities
Program amp; Proposal Support
  • Assist the Program Manager in preparing compliant responses to RFPs and RFIs.
  • Support contract review activities with the Contracts department to ensure compliance prior to acceptance.
  • Help conduct Technical and Cost Review meetings and incorporate decisions into final proposals.
  • Assist in developing presentations for internal and customer use.
Program Coordination amp; Execution
  • Support development of the Work Breakdown Structure and integrated program schedule.
  • Coordinate program meetings, prepare agendas, track action items, and maintain documentation.
  • Assist in monitoring deliverables, schedules, and budgets to ensure alignment with contract requirements.
  • Support cross‑functional coordination with Manufacturing, Quality, Material Control, Shipping, and Property Management.
  • Help prepare customer communications, status updates, and visit logistics.
  • Provide early communication of issues to maintain a “no surprises” environment.
Property, Deliverables amp; Reporting
  • Manage, inventory, and report on Customer and Government property.
  • Prepare and submit required contractual CDRLs/SDRLs.
  • Assist in preparing materials for internal and customer program reviews.
Performance Tracking amp; ISO‑Aligned Reporting
  • Support Earned Value Management data collection and reporting.
  • Assist with ETC/EAC updates and master schedule maintenance.
  • Help track budgets, milestones, and Line of Balance metrics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools, spreadsheets, and document management systems.
  • Familiarity with government contracting or Earned Value is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • gt; 5 years’ experience in an engineering, military, or similar environment preferred.
  • Experience supporting program, project, engineering, or operations teams preferred.
Work Environment
  • Normal office environment
  • Expected hours 8:00am - 5:00pm, M-F
